Ok Ok I finally decided to enter this competition for the DT Call, I had been thinking and thinking and then thought why not???
I totally admire anyone that can put together a great sketch for others to follow and there is something mildly satisfying about seeing everyone get totally creative with the same item and how differently everything turns out...............so here is the sketch

BAP - Prima Jan Comp

Ok here is my first entry, this year for the Prima monthly sketch challenge.
In this layout I have used mostly papers from the
Prima - Printery Collection with one from the Prima -Romantique Collection along with a little bit of Tim and the title is from Imaginarium Designs.

What do you think......

The layout is of Little Sophia with her Mummy and Daddy during a family photo shoot and I was lucky enough to be given some photos to play with.
Isn't she a wee cutie!

Someone has stolen December and January!
where have they gone?
It feels like I went to bed in November and now woke up facing the end of January.....

So that means I have a lot of work to catch up on and classes to sort for the upcoming year
and looking at some of the sneak peeks for the CHA there is going to be some very nice bits and pieces for us to all play with and drool over this year......So

and I also promise to be bringing you some very special classes and ideas over the next few months.

"Stuck" Sketches - 15th November Challenge

This months 2nd sketch challenge over at Stuck Sketches was very minimalistic and I kind of struggled achieving the end result, but I totally love the finished layout.
I have used some papers from The Scrap Cake - Bright Side of Life range and I think I have found a new favourite.

Here is my take on this months Sketch Challenge, I love the papers they are so soft and delicate and take on a whole different look when teamed with some very special Prima Resin Goodies and flowers, but then again it wouldn't be one of my layouts without a little bit of Tim included somewhere.........

What do you think....................This Photo of Trevor and Myself was taken at the Botanical Gardens here in Dunedin during a wonderful photo shoot recently, he was being extremely cheeky as we had just walked up a hill to the seat for the photo and I must admit I was a bit puffed!

I can't wait to see what the next months sketches are going to be

(I love stealing Baby photos from the Neighbours!!!)
I was also able to use one of my new favourite paper lines from Kaisercraft- the Bonjour Line arent they absolutely gorgeous..........

Prima BAP Challenge October 2011

In October I spotted this sketch for Prima's BAP Challenge so thought I would give it a go since Trevor and I had just received out Photos back from the gorgeous Mel at www.facebook.com/artifexphotography (well worth the time and money if you get the opportunity) and I was really excited about having new photos and goodies to play with.

Here is what I came up with and the sketch underneath:-

I even got to use some of the awesome packaging that came on the Fence Mask I have purchased recently. (might have to get some more of these)

I had a lot of fun playing with this sketch , new photos and of course Prima goodies.............. what a combination!!!

Hello....I'm Back!!!

Well after what seems to be forever I have found some mojo again to get this blog updated!!

poor neglected little thing.....
If anyone would be keen to make this Canvas then there is 2 ways this could happen, on the
4th December I am taking a class making it at the Balclutha High School, if you would like to come along please let me know and I will let you know the finer details, and secondly there is a possibility I will be teaching this at the Scrappin Patch Retreat next March if there is enough ladies that want to get creative with me.

Please let Adrienne know if you would be keen to have this at the retreat or if you are not able to make the either class then letz know where in the country you are and if theres enough ladies in that area to create a class I can look at bringing it to you.

I have used a 12x12 canvas but the back is now the front.....

I hope to hear that some of you would like to come along and have a morning of fun and creativity, just like the class up there this last weekend when the wee book went travelling to Christchurch and my good Friend Sharon came to help ...... (help.....yes thats the word), no I joke, she was a tremendous help and it was great sharing the day with her and lots of like minded ladies.

Very Sad Day 2Day as I'm Leaving the Scrappin Patch Design Team....

By now most of you will have read the newsletter and be aware that I am leaving the Scrappin Patch Design Team.
This is for personal reasons and the fact that time has come to let others take the reigns for a while and inspire you all further with new and fresh ideas. When I was asked to join the Design Team 2 years ago my main aim was to try and make people think about their scrapping and try new things and maybe even challenge themselves, and to look outside the square even if just a little and see what they come up with, it really is to easy to stay with the tried and true, sometimes it does you the world of good to jump outside ....you never know you might like it!
I have totally enjoyed my time with Scrappin Patch and the friendships I have made along the way and I sincerely hope to keep up with everyones scrappin and achievements in their scrappin endeavours.Adrienne has been a true pleasure to work with and I hope that from time to time she might allow me to take the odd class or 2 or supply kits for the shop. The past and present DT members that I have worked with were and are awesome ladies and scrappers in their own right, and it is especially sad to see that Heidi is also leaving the DT but we both know we are leaving it in capable hands.

Yawn ,Yawn, Stretch,Stretch, Scratch, Scratch and Yawn, Stretch and Scratch again....
I am here and am now out of hibernation well thats what it feels like anyway!
I have been told by quite a few people that I havent been around much lately,
and I sincerely apologise the weeks have really just escaped me and you know with today being
the 1st of August its only 4 months till Christmas (thats about 16 weeks incase you missed it)!!!

I have been very busy over the last couple of months taking classes and even a little holiday
I will be back over the next couple of days with some photos of the Holiday and incase you would like to see, I will make sure I have one of the Monkey that took a liking to boobs and I think she decided that mine were better than hers and she was guna have them, but anyway thats a story for another day, I will also be back with some photos of the layouts we have made in the classes I have been teaching and hopefully some sneak peeks of the book that was made yesterday by the lovely Balclutha Ladies and is being finished this friday by the Dunedin Ladies, (it really is quite neat and I love how the papers compliment each other....we used the 7 Gypsies Lille line) and I think the Ladies all loved the book and enhoyed the process of creating theirs....well I hope so anyway!

Ok thats it for now..........dont sit up and wait for the nect installment, it might not happen until Thursday.

My Books going on a Road Trip....

I am taking my little book on a road trip to Christchurch for the Ladies up there to make,
I am doing this on the 11th June and hopefully the Christchurch ladies will enjoy making it as much as all the ones down south have.
This will be happening at Scrappin Patch Headquarters and should start around 10am, you will not leave without the book being completed (unless you need to or want to!) as I really don't believe in ladies paying for and attending a class and going home with a bag full of nothing and tossing it in the corner, at least finish it before you do that!
Cover to cover there are 12 pages and each one a whole lot different to the last and you will learn a couple of little tricks along the way as well

So if you would like to come along and make this we honey, please let Adrienne know, she will be organising all the finer details on Tuesday after the big trip south for the weekend, and they should be up on the SP forum then.

You will not need anything other than normal goodies, tape, glue, scissors, and sepia ink (only to save you waiting) but everything else apart from photos is supplied, oh and a sense of humour is a must

The more the merrier.....

Mothers Day Cards.....

I made these 2 little cards for the competition I set last week over at Scrappin Patch
Kinda cool aye? considering I'm not a cardmaker I was quite happy with how they turned out...

How was your Mothers Day, I was spoilt and got a nice bag and necklace from Chris and a scrappin apron with a wonderful large pocket in the front and some scratchy tickets (I won $24 ...Yahoo) from Emz and some lovely glove liners from Mike and Sherie In Aussie now my fingers at Rugby wont be like blocks of ice. Then we had roast chicken for dinner with lotz roast veges yum yum yum and gravy

I hope you all were treated like a Queen for the day, you know we deserve it!!!

What a Fantastic Group of Ladies I had.....

....for the wee book class in Balclutha yesterday and thanks to Bronny and her extensive photo taking skills along with tripod and remote we were able to get a great photo, however 2 ladies disappeared before Bronny was set up.

I think all 15 Ladies enjoyed the wee techniques they learn't and I was even happier to see them all go home with a finished project, as I dont believe that you should pay to go to a class and leave with a bag of bitz and an unfinished project, so if you ever come to one of my classes expect to get the project finished before you leave.

Thank you Ladies for a very enjoyable day and I hope to be back in the near future.....

Enjoy Life Book Class

I was asked by OGHS to create an item that the Girls could start and finish in an afternoon, so I came up with this very cool little book. It measures 6 x 6 inches and has lotz of little pockets etc inside for those special memories. Since taking this class I have also run it for friends and acquaintances and they have all really enjoyed the process and I am happy that they have walked away with a finished project.

If you would like to come along to the class for this wee book it is going to be on the 1st of May in Balclutha and there will be a crop afternoon after the class.

The class will start at 9.30am and should be finished by 1pm ready for a bite of lunch and then crop until 5pm.

You will not need specific requirements for the class except for some tape, glue, scissors and inks although I will be providing an assortment of inks, to be used. Photos can be added later.

Please let me know if you would like to attend as I am going to be organising the packs this weekend.

My "Babies" Birthday Today.....

Where has the time gone, 24 years ago Michael was born at 8.45pm. The Dr warned me that he had an awards ceremony to go to that night and didn't want to have to leave to deliver my baby, so if I could please either hold on or not bother until the next day it would be good.......Well

he missed the Pre-Dinner drinks but he did come to deliver Mike in his Tux, and his hair was all spiky and he smelled good .... mmmmm the things you remember aye! Chris wasn't so lucky as John had been in the garden when he got the call Chris was coming so he arrived in his singlet, rugby shorts and gumboots and smelled like compost! and Young Miss Emz well he came straight from his practice so he had to be dressed reasonably well and I cant remember what he smelled like (lol)

Anyway Mike is 24 today, he is living in the Gold Coast with his awesome Girlfriend Sherie and they are coming home next weekend for a very quick trip (we are allocated Sunday afternoon, but not too much of Sunday afternoon as it might break into the drinking time and catching up with Mates time!!!) Nevertheless I am looking forward to a hug and seeing him in real not just nicking photos off facebook and scrapping them.

Here is a layout I have previously done this is using 7 Gypsies paper and lots of wee roses and of course some Prima, they were off to a race meeting here on Melbourne Cup day and looked wonderful all dressed up

My Poor Little Blog.....

I promise not to ignore you again....................but I have to go and do some luxing, wash some clothes and have a general tidy up after what has been a week from hell!. Everything was planned and put into organised days of what was going to happen last week as I had scrap classes to cut and pack for, kits that had to be finished and Layouts that had to be uploaded and then out of the blue we get a call, to be told that Trev's Dad's Wife (not Trev's Mum) had collapsed at the doors of Dunedin Hospital (while visiting) with Pulmonary Embolism we sat with her for 3 days and nights and she finally slipped away on Thursday morning at 5.30am so then we had to help organise the funeral and because we live in Dunedin and they live in Bluff (Southland) there was a huge amount of travel involved and a lot of very late nights! so all the plans I have set in motion for last week very quickly went out the window.... She was only 58! So little blog I will be back soon and I hopefully will have some goodies to share with everyone

Pencil Lines Sketch

I had a dilemma.......
will I...... won't I...... well maybe...... then why not?
and So I did..........
the dilemma was whether or not to enter the
Pencil Lines DT callout, either way it was another
opportunity to create a layout

Inspiration for Scrappin Patch....

I was sent a package with lots of different bitz and pieces from Scrappin Patch to use for some inspiration and included in it was some Hambly Screenprint - Couture sheet, along with some MME papers and tags, and some cute wee Chipboard dress forms (which I covered) The rest I added so of course there had to be some Prima and some of Tims goodies!

What do you think....

The alphas I used are Basic Grey - Elbow chipboard letters and are awesome as they are a good size. The metal pieces hanging from the tag in the top corner are from a necklace I found at Equip Jewellery Store, these are exceptional value at $5 on sale and there is always so many pieces that can be used off each one

February Cards......Romance

This Year some Friends I scrap with on a regular basis have started a card swap, some of the topics are relatively easy and then there the other ones....like this one! The topic was of course
since it is February love - Romance - Valentines etc

This is 2 of the cards I have made (we have to make 6 - or more if you choose to) I chose to use the Graphic 45 - Once Upon a Springtime Collection - Woodland Fantasy and some Glitz Design - Love Nest Block along with Basic Grey - Nook and Pantry - Beaters and some Stickles to high light some of the colours in the Fairy papers.
HINT:- if you use a Stickles such as Crystal or Star Dust or Icicle then the colours from underneath will *Pop*

Some Very Exciting News.......................

I won.............the competition to be Magistical Memories March Guest Designer.
I am very excited that my layout about Mike and Me has been chosen and I get to be a little creative for the month of March.
Just hoping I can do the position justice and come up with something really special
but you will have to wait and see, and watch this space. But in the meantime pop over to
Magistical Memories and have a wee look at some of their chipboard goodies, they are amazing
Annelie is a DT Member for them and produces some amazing work using their goodies.

Magistical Memories - Chipboard Challenge

As many of you know I am a Chipboard Freak and when I saw this months challenge over at http://www.magisticalmemories.com/, I instantly knew what I was going to use. There is a lot of Chipboard on this layout some from Basic Grey's Curio collection, a brick wall from Dusty Attic and the words Magical Moments and "Mike" from Terri at "Meant to be" scrapbooking supplies, along with a little Prima and Tim Holtz goodies they all make up this meaningful layout as this was taken just before Mike and His wonderful Girlfriend Sherie moved to Aussie. The hidden tag has some personal journalling on it saying how much we miss them. So yes these are very precious moments to me.

My Bungy - Scrapped!

Had to do this layout while this was all so fresh in my mind,
actually now that it is a few days later, I am quite amazed that I jumped (Fell), I can't actually remember the moment I left the platform, so thank goodness Trevor got it all in photos so I could relive it over and over again.......

So this is the start of a year of challenges for me, so lets wait and see what else is in store.......

I'm early, "Yahoo" I'm early for a change with the BAP for January for Prima normally I am running late and finally get to upload it on the 2nd last day and never know if they make it in time, so my motto for this year is "Be Early" Ok Ok so we are 16 days into the new year and this is the first time I have been early for anything, give me time... Rome wasn't built in a day (well it might of been had a woman been in charge!)
Anyway this Prima challenge was quite fun as I really love clusters and this was right up my little alley. Prima has some wonderful sketches to lift for their challenges but sometimes just sometimes there are some that look very similiar.................or is that just me.

Its not very often that Trev and I get a reasonable photo of us "together" so this is a treat and even better it was taken by Emz and was one of the many she managed to snap on Christmas day.

Hope you are all have had a wonderful weekend and maybe even had some time for a little scrappin!

My New Year Leap......Wasn't Pretty...............But.............I did It!

Hello, here are some photos to prove I completed the Kawarau Bungy just outside of Queenstown it is only 43m high but once your standing on the bridge it feels like a whole lot more!!! As one of the Bungy employees tried to prize my very tight grip from the hand piece, one finger at a time, the other young man edged me forward closer and closer to the edge until finally there was no room left and the only way out of this situation was down! Unfortunately it wasn't pretty and I'm sure I let rip with a string of obscenities to my Eldest Darling Son who gave this to me for Christmas last year (being 2009) and its taken this long to get up the courage to use it.

Anyway it was good and an unbelievable feeling of falling , but boy you should see the bruises from the harness around my legs, not down at my ankles but up further, now that is impressive. But hey the little harness and straps had a whole lotta weight to hold up until I managed to crawl into the waiting boat below (now thats a whole lot of different photos as there was definitely nothing elegant about being ceremoniously dumped into the boat!)

I still do think the Tower of Terror in Aussie is a lot worse tho, so if your down the Queenstown way and feel like throwing yourself off a bridge....go for it!!!

Prima BAP Dec 2010

Here is a layout I have recently created for the Prima BAP Competitin for Dec, this is a very special photo as this amazing wee fella was born at 26 weeks and only weighed 955g he is now 3 months old and now weighs 7lbs. His name is Kaleb Smith and he is a truly amazing little man, he has done so well in to the last 3months that he is now home and his Mummy and Daddy were able to spend Christmas at home with him and all his santa goodies instead of in the NICU unit at Dunedin Hospital. Hopefully I will be allowed more photos in the future to share with you.........

Used mostly Prima goodies on this layout except for the chipboard "Magical Moments" which I got from "Meant to Be" scrapbooking in Australia, a fantastic company who will create anything you would like in chipboard especially kids names or place names, words etc. Terry will be very helpful and try and help you with your requirements.

Boyzone Challenge at Scrappin Patch....

Isn't this little face gorgeous.....This is Finn, a very handsome young man, who's Big Sister Sherie let me use his photo for a very special layout (or 2!) but especially for the Boyzone Challenge at Scrappin Patch which ends on the 15th January, so I hope there are lots of photos being taken over the next week or so and lots of layouts being created to enter this competition. The only requirement is that its "Boyz at Play" now this of course is open to interpretation it could also be big boys at play and with New Years fast approaching I'm sure we could get a few neat layouts in the Gallery......

Anyway here is Finn....

So what do you think...............Keen to have a go....well then the folder is open in the gallery and waiting for some layouts

I will keep an eye out to see who is first, you just never know there might be a wee prize for that as well

Week 6 - at BPS - Black and White with Nic....All finished Now!

Well its over and what a 6 week ride it has been, there is no more waiting for teatime on Thursdays now as its ALL OVER!, Finished, Kaput, Finito....
The Black and White colours of the 6th week were really a challenge especially when I stuck the white pic on the black card and vice versa and couldn't change them (yes even I do it lol) I did enjoy the cards tho and then the layout, I knew straight away what photo I was going to use and the whole layout fell into place, I think the final result is Ok

I love how the Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers came out being made in black cardstock and then dunked in some diamond dust.

Week 5 - Purple at BPS with Nic

I would throughly recommend these classes, the content is amazing and the way we have been made to think about the colours we use on layouts has been wonderful. Instead of just throwing some of this and a little of that on there, you actually start to think about the colour combo's, and Nics teaching Skills are second to none.

Week 5 was no exception, we used purple - a mixture of Indigo and Violet.

My Friend Sharon, was over the moon when this colour came up as its her definate favourite and she completed 2 wonderful layouts and her wee colour cards as well, really doing the colour justice.

I have enjoyed using this colour on the 1st layout, but then we had an opportunity to use it in an xtra challenge along with another of my favourite companies goodies and the is Dusty Attic, so you will see I have plenty as used 3 pieces on my layout.

Anyway thanks for looking and hope you have a wonderful weekend, I have the last scrap saturday tomorrow here in Dunedin for the year with a group of like minded Friends, if any of you would like to join us next year for a 3 weekly/monthly Scrap Saturday then let me know and I will give you the details.

Week 4 - Blue with Nic over at BPS

Wow........Loved this challenge, its a Double, something I definately do not do that often But I used some of my Prima favourites from this season being Jack n Jill and spread the vines across both pages to give it some "flow", you can't see it very well but each strip is lifted and the photos are flat on the base to give it some dimension (looks better in real life).
It just all fell into place and I love the outcome, what do you think?

The little gate is Dusty Attic (another favourite Company) and I even managed to get a little silver Bell to put under our last name.

Ok so I admit it, I'm a Scrapaholic and I drink too much............ well I didn't actually think I had a problem, but after a visit to the Dr's last week (for my annual 4yearly checkup....he actually said to me "Well either you don't get sick much or your scared of me" you know he says all this while resting his "Dr" hand on my knee, I do always try and sit in the furthermost away chair but his has wheels and he comes closer and closer!....now you know why I dont go much....but I did need more drugs for my back and the Nurse wouldn't give me a another script unless I saw the Doc,
hence my visit, which as it turns out wasn't exactly working in my favour!)
Apparently I drink far too much COFFEE and that is apparently the problem, once again I don't see it as a problem, what really is wrong with having one at 5.30am and then having a continuous cup while scrappin until bedtime usually around 11pm....ok so maybe there are a few I could cut out, but WHY? The Doc informed me I would be much better dropping some coffees and having GREEN TEA..................GREEN TEA! what the hell is green tea I said, does that come in the form of a coffee jar and have "Moccona" on the label, cos if it doesn't then this gal ain't drinking it!
Well just try it he said.....................he must have thought Ha! I have her here now lets tell her she needs a blood test................to which I replied "What the hell for" I'm not sick...ok i have a problem, apparently i drink too much coffee but does that really require a blood test....I don't think so! he wants to check my liver (its fine its pickled from the over excessive amount of wine I also drink) he wants to check my cholesterol (its fine, its not like I eat a lot of takeaways...oh hang on yes i do! na its fine) he wants to check my Kidneys (they are fine, they go hand in hand with my liver) and a heap of other things, when he tried to hand me the form I said "No thanks" I'm feeling fine, Maybe (definitely)a kilo or 5 overweight (due to the takeaways and the heavy drinking I suspect!) but feeling fine and your not going to send me for a blood test to find something and tell me I will only have a matter of weeks to live...........cos that's what happens, people go to the Dr feeling just a little off colour and then wham the next thing they are drinking up a storm cos they have been told (via a blood test....) that they have cancer or heart disease or whatever and they better sort out their priorities cos it will all be over soon........my theory is cut out the middle man (the Doc), drink eat and be merry and scrap away to your little hearts content and if and when your time comes then so be it..................Anyway I was sidetracked.........
I found some GREEN TEA Yesterday and thought Ok I will try this for one day,
Verdict:- I don't like it!!! I woke up this morning feeling yuck and like I was floating......is it possible to drink too much GREEN TEA, I think so! the box had 25 tea bags and now theres only 17 left........................at least I know where I stand with my trusty cup of "Moccona" its my inspiration for scrappin, if I hit a wall and can't find that idea in my grey matter then a cup always sorts out the brainwaves and puts everything back in place and off we go again,
GREEN TEA and DOCTORS are the only 2 things that should be taken in very "little" moderation!
So while I have my 4th cup this morning and think about the scrappin day ahead, I will think more about the Blood Test form that is on the side of my fridge, But I will win...............

BPS - Week 3 - Green with Nic...

I am not really a big fan of green, but I do seem to use it alot in my scrappin' it just seems to blend into any other colour thats on the page and it really is the "Woman behind any good Man". I did enjoy this challenge but unfotunately the dimension is not visible from the photo.......................what do you think?

Of course there had to be a little Prima and Timmy (as usual) but a little never hurt..... did it?Anyway I would love to hear your thoughts on this layout so please let me know what you think

The Colour (color) Orange/Yellow BPS Challenge with Nic.....

Well this one really took some thinking, not 2 of the easiest colours to work with, but together they seem to compliment each other. I used a black and white photo of My Mum on her Wedding Day way back in 1959. I used some pearls on my layout because Mum borrowed Grans ones for the big occassion. I had to play around with lots of different combinations before I was happy with the final layout and then it had to be "Robbi-ed" of course...no wonder a single layout can take me 3 days to complete!

Can't waste time now tho Adrienne has given me bags of goodness to play with and make some 4/5 page kits and then some gorgeous papers to make a 2 page kit and guess what its guna be "Robbi-ed" so you know there's guna be a little Prima here and there

Anyway what are your thoughts on this layout, please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

The Colour RED..........................

I have joined the BPS 6 week challenge with Nic Howard, this 1st week was the colour (or is it color?) RED. Not really one of my favourite colours as it is very bold and as you all know the eye goes straight to it on a page, however I did enjoy the challenge and am looking forward to this weeks one ..............orange/yellow

The October BAP for Prima seems to be a real challenge for me this month and yet it looks like quite an easy sketch...........maybe I just analyse them too much and it seemed to take forever to decide on what papers to use..................oh hang on it all had to be Prima.....why would that be hard?.....................WELL because there is so many yummy ones that I just can't decide, it was almost a case of giving Trev the Box full to overflowing of Prima goodness and telling him to choose!!! how bad is that!

Anyway what do you think, this is what I came up with over Labour Weekend not my usual over the top layout with every inch covered but I quite like the simpleness of it....well I have to it's the only one I'm entering......................

Well Hello, after a very busy weekend at the Christchurch Charity Crop I have come home to put my feet up and have a wee snooze....................not likely there is too much scrappin too be finished and started!. The crop was amazing and a whole lotta fun, for those that booked and never turned up, I'm sure you would have really enjoyed the day. I know I had a heap of fun and I'm sure the flower making went down really well, so i think we will see a lot of hand made flowers on layouts and cards from now on.

Some of the Ladies that were at the retreat asked about the bird cage I started there, well it is on my scrap room wall and looks quite cool, here is a pic of it for you

The Picture might be as good as it could be, but you get the general idea, and yes the yellow is the colour of my scrap room, nice bright and sunny (even when it's snowing outside)

Well another month is almost over, where has this year gone? it seems no time at all since I "lovingly" pulled down the Christmas tree, rolled up the Christmas Lights (Trev hates it when I roll them haha) and thru everything back into the box to be put back in the cupboard until next time........next time is fast approaching and I havent even thought about my Christmas Cards yet!......have you?

Anyway I procrastinate, I wanted to share this layout with you I have just completed it for this months BAP over at Prima, I loved the sketch challenge this month, Trev thought there were "too many flowers" ................................. but what would he know!!!

I have used 99% Prima and a touch of Basic Grey (the title), and cut some of the flowers from my favourite Die from Tim Holtz ..... if you can get your hands on one Please grab it with both and you will never regret it, I promise you. The possibilities for creating your own wonderful flowers are endless.

So what do you think, I am absolutely falling in love with the new ranges from Prima and have just had a sneaky at the 7 Gypsies as well and am really liking them , have you seen them over at Scrappin Patch, click on the link and go for a look http://scrappinpatch.co.nz/

It seems to have forever since I last "Blogged" but I have been
very busy creating some layouts for upcoming Challenges over at
Scrappin Patch, for after the "STARS" Comp finishes.

However here is a Layout I created recently using the
Basic Grey "Capella" range and of course a little Prima and Tim
on the side never hurts.

The saying says:

Thought I would share this photo with you today, It is of Our eldest Son

Chris from last saturday night at his awards evening for the Zingari Rugby Club

Chris was the Captain of the Premier team this year and even tho they had a

very poor season, it was good to see him rally the Boys and try and get the best

out of them, they were almost looking at relegation, but managed to win the game

in convincing style to save their place in the Premier grade for next season.

Chris also played his 100th Premier game in May this year.

We are very proud of him and what he has achieved this year and past years

and the Club must have liked the way he lead the team this year as he was awarded the

Team "Player of the Year" trophy and also the Club "Player of the Year" trophy as well.

Prima BAP for August

I am very pleased with the way this layout has come together from the Prima "Build a Page" Sketch for the month of August.

It is a real cool photo of Trev and Emz together and yes the reason they are laughing so naturally is at my expense, but I love it anyway.

I have made the wee green flower from Prima packaging and used Dimond Dust to cover the petals, I have also cut out the butterflies and used clear embossing powder to give their wings a wee lift. I have also used some of the clear packaging with words as an embellishment.

I really love this Photo of My Mums two Cousins, Imagine having a camera way back then and actually getting this photo. I have handmade the flowers at the bottom using the new Tim Holtz Tattered Floral Die and some handmade paper, the tree is from Dusty Attic and is really a branch that has birds on it I took them off tho and put them on the birdhouse (Kaisercraft) and removed the top layer of them and put them in the Tim Holtz Ornate Plate in the top.

As you can probably guess I love all things from Tim Holtz and Prima
