Mess....Oh Beautiful Mess!

Well that's what I keep telling myself that my lounge is a "Beautiful mess"
it actually isn't ...it's more like world war 3 has had a brain explosion in my lounge, kitchen, garage
and really any place that a brown box can be housed!!!
Yep you guessed it... I'm in the midst of kitting for my 8 SENZ classes and the stall goodies as well
along with class this coming weekend
However there is a little flicker of light at the end of a very long tunnel and once my missing Burgundy cardstock arrives everything will be boxed, labelled and put on the pallet to head north
but in the meantime my little tins arrived...and they are so damn cute
can you guess what class each tin is for  and of course they will be full of all the "little" goodies for that respective class

there is 4 different little houses and they are totally gorgeous......if you haven't yet booked into one of my SENZ classes or at least checked them out then come on over to
some of the classes are already full but there is kits available and other classes are almost full
The pallet will be sealed and sent on the 1st July so I am definitely counting down to that day.
But
before then we have class here in Dunedin and Balclutha this coming weekend and I must admit
I was really looking forward to using the New Papers from Prima Debutante or Garden Fable
but once again they arrived to late so had to delve back into the past and use the Blue Bay Collection from Kaiser and I am really happy with how it has come out. Included in the kit is a bonus card since there was lots of leftovers.
In August we will use the papers from Prima so that's not to long to wait.
Here's a couple of sneaky peeks of the layout....I do love those colours!

in class we get to do a little painting and of course a lot of distressing and inking - always my fav!

In July the weekend after the SENZ Expo  - I will be running a "Project" day and we will be creating the Mini Album, the Panel Art and included in the day price will be choice of Boys or Girls kit from my SENZ classes, Lunch and Dinner will be provided so if you are around Dunedin on the 18th July and would like to come along for a fun filled day of creativeness please let me know. the class will be running from 9am till 7.30pm and the cost is $175
Ok that's it for now I hope you are all keeping warm and dry
until next time

Busy?....too right!

Hey Everyone in Scrappyland

If you are keen on any of my classes we are having the whole works from Layouts, Cards, Mini albums and some OTP so something for everyone - class lists of what to bring will be out to all that have secured a spot on the 20th June via email so watch for that.....and Good Luck for tomorrow I sincerely hope you get the Classes and Tutors you are after

come check us all out, have a look at the blogs of everyone and see what takes your fancy....

Click on the link above to secure your tickets if you haven't already got them...

Anyway here is this months layout...It is Male based but some of the ladies this weekend have used photos with Girls being adventurous, from climbing trees, riding bikes and roller derby. So really it is for all genders.

The ladies had fun cutting out the bricks and then lifting with chipboard but I think the effect is really cool and totally worth doing...mind you I think that about everything - if its not lifted inked or distressed then its not a "Robbi" project lol
We have used the awesome collection of papers from Authentique "Durable" and I absolutely love the colours ...

They Just WORK!

Trevor has been biking for a few years now and I'm always at the start and finish cheering him on (probably not always that helpful...but I'm there with the camera - so that must count for something!)  so yes over the years I have taken countless photos some great ones some not so great ones, but with this collection of papers I knew straight away what photos I was going to use and they were from the Motatapu mountain bike adventure from Glendu Bay to Arrowtown
He has done this ride a few times and I am always so proud of him going back for more - I know damn well I wouldn't !
so this is for him xxx
The little mdf cogs are cut and sprinkled amongst the flowers or if you had some other kind of embellishment to add in the place of the flowers then go for it. Now that class is over and the kits have been sealed and are ready to send tomorrow, I will add some other little pieces of lifted bricks to the wall - I didn't want to do this before class as thought the Ladies might get a little stuck on having to  do that rather than get the layout base finished.

there is still a couple of the kits available if anyone is interested or you will be able to check them out (and trev) in real life at the SENZ kit stall I am having with Trina McClune......so please come say hi

the flower cluster is above with the little cogs amongst them

shows some of the inside pages - as there is actually a booklet under the front photo

Ok that's it for now...have a super awesome scrappy week and hope your fingers are quick on the draw for the classes you are after at SENZ and hopefully I might see some of you at mine xxx

Until next time

Hibernation over!......Im like the Bear ...Just waking up

think I found myself a nice warm possie, covered myself with a warm blanket and slept
well that's my excuse for not blogging since OCTOBER!
anyway I'm sorry it was going to be my new years resolution...to blog more!
Ok so I'm not great at keeping resolutions, so I will TRY
and blog at least once a month from now on...

So yes Christmas has been and gone
Yes My Birthday has been and gone
Yes Our Beautiful Daughter has just got Engaged to Jayden (hope he knows what he's in for!)
and Yes we are only 125 days away from heading on our Big OE....Look out Eurpoe we're invading you!

Anyway on to more important things....
we managed to have the first class for the year at the end of March, instead of the middle as planned
this was totally due to the strikes in America and my papers not being released
We made a really cool box and 3 mini albums for the inside the mini albums each had 4 wings
and could be used for documenting your achievements for 2015 or as a little book for each Grandchild etc

This pic above shows the box that's holds the little albums. It would be fun to see what everyone did with theirs!

and more recently
here is a couple of projects the ladies created recently at the amazing AE in Taupo that I was privileged to be asked to Tutor at
above is the box and drawer combo set that was one of the classes. the box is made of MDF and covered in Blue Bay from Kaisercraft. There is also a little mini album to go inside that had 15 pages to use for photos and journalling

the photo above is the layout the ladies made in class. It is using papers from the amazing
Paper Arts an amazing New Zealand company. If you get the opportunity to check them out then please do the site is
they have also produced a collection of ANZAC papers

above in this photo is the tag and envelope combo that went along with the layout in class. It was made using leftovers from the layout

1st of the Male cards in card class at AE. It has a really nice dad saying inside
and is created using Authentique Durable papers

Very nice Card completed using the new Gabrielle Pollocco Stamp and Authentique Beauty papers

My Sympathy card, we made this by creating a pocket for the from and then adding the pre printed saying. this was to be used to write something on the back or add a photo to or replace with your own saying.
This also was created by using Autherntique Faith collection papers

this card above is my favourite, it is so soft and meaningful. the saying is gorgeous and wishes Bubs all the best the world has to offer.
above is the inside of the baby card. I created a very small envelope and tucked in a small baby card
really this could be a card for a boy or little girl

This card above was created for a friend - has lots of little metal trinkets on it and the tag folds over the back

as the wording says on the pic, you can use  premade banner pieces or make your own
why not cover some of the back as well

2nd male card above. this is again using papers from the Autherntique Durable collection
I think this has to be one of the best male collections I have seen in a very long time

I would like to say I thoroughly enjoyed my time at AE and loved meeting so many wonderful Ladies
and seeing their creativity while checking out their tables. It was very humbling to see so many of my projects on the tables and being able to help Ladies get these finished and answer other questions or help in any way I was required to.
Thank You all for making my time there very special xxx

Card class this past weekend in Dunedin and Balclutha
was really fun and it was wonderful to see that we have some new Ladies that are starting to come along.
the cards were relatively easy to make and most Ladies got them finished apart from the last little flower bits or sayings that they wanted to change....What do you think?

Aloysius came along for the ride on the making of this card...isn't he gorgeous
he's one of the new IndigoBlu stamps and should be in everyone's stamp collection
just cos he's so cute!

very simple but effective card for a friend, grandparent, mothers day, whatever really
the die I used for this is from Wild Rose Studio and is called Woodland Posy

the male card above is again created using the Authentique Durable papers and some chipboard wire

"Lost in Thought" is the name of the stamp on this card and is another new one from
IndigoBlu and can be used for anything from a travel card/layout to just a good teenage card/layout
I haven't coloured her or Aloysius in but they are to be coloured in using  watercolours

a very nice friendship card with a really good saying on it, again using metals and a  cotton reel
I used Authentique Faith paper for this card

this was created as a wedding card and had a very nice saying on the inside
very simple and clean, was pretty much made from cardstock and the front panel was found on Etsy.

Ok so for this blog post that's it, hope you found a little bit of inspiration and I promise to be back soon
I am being very creative using lots of Prima, Kaiser and other goodies to create my classes for SENZ 2015 and I cant wait to catch up with everyone again and don't forget to come visit myself and Trina McClune at our kit stall called
